The Tripura government has introduced an online admissions system for graduate schools due to the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in the state.

Students can apply for the home-based universities via an online admission portal. All you have to do is pass on your photo, the grades obtained in higher secondary exams, the role number and the signatures. After registering, they can apply for their preferred universities and courses.

During admission, you can specify your preferences for the location. You can also choose to change your colleges a maximum of three times if places are available in your preferred college.

“Students can apply for at least six universities and a maximum of 15 universities. They can be admitted to colleges online without having to move out of their homes. Admission to colleges would be based on earnings, ”the education minister told reporters on Tuesday.

“We also decided to waive the fees for online portal registration, admission, college development and tuition fees. But the university’s registration fees and other nominal fees would remain, ”said the minister. .

Students can meet their needs by choosing pass or honor courses. These will be notified after the colleges have notified their achievement lists.

Classes are scheduled to begin online on September 6th. The admission process begins on August 10 and continues until August 20. The achievement lists will be published in three phases on August 25, August 29 and September 3. Notifications of confirmation of admission will be available from August 26th to September 5th.

According to officials from the Department of Higher Education, each college would provide its earnings list so that students are informed of seat availability or whether they have the opportunity to change their choices.
