The National Law University consortium on Friday postponed the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2020) to September 28, 2020. A notice regarding this decision has been uploaded to the consortium’s official website.
“The CLAT 2020 exam planned for September 7, 2020 for UG and PG candidates has been postponed to Monday, September 28, 2020, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.,” says the official notice.
The CLAT 2020 exam, originally planned for May 10, has been postponed several times due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It was postponed from May 10th to May 24th, then to June 21st and then to August 22nd and September 7th.
CLAT is an aptitude test designed to test a student’s interest in the law rather than their knowledge of the law.
CLAT comprises 5 sections namely the English Language, Current Affairs, including General Knowledge, Legal Thinking, Logical Thinking and Quantitative Techniques.
