The National Law University consortium has extended the deadline to complete the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT-2020) application form. Candidates can now apply for the CLAT exam by July 1st. Candidates who were unable to complete the CLAT 2020 exam and were unable to complete the form can now apply via the CLAT official website.

When will the exam be

The CLAT was due to take place nationwide on June 21 after two postponements. However, due to the coronavirus epidemic, the test was extended for the third time. In the past, this test should take place on May 10th, but later increased to May 24th. After that, this examination should take place on June 21 due to the situation worsening due to the infection. But now postponed again. The National Law University will announce approval of the admission card and exam dates for CLAT 2020 about 21 days before the exam.

Admission to legal courses

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an entrance exam at the national level, which enables admission to legal courses for students (UG) and postgraduates (PG). 22 state law universities currently offer this course. Clat’s exam will be objective and will include 150 numbers. Candidates are given 2 hours to take this exam.
