Higher Secondary Education Council, Odisha, will announce the results of the higher secondary education and professional streams for the 2019-20 board exam in the first week of September instead of last week in August after two higher secondary education council members test positive for Covid -19, said the Minister of State Schools and Mass Education, Samir Ranjan Dash.
“The results of the Plus II Arts and Crafts courses will be announced in the first week of September as we missed the end of August deadline due to these issues,” said Dash.
A total of 2.18 Lakh students had taken the upper secondary art examination in March this year. However, exams in anthropology, sociology and geography could not be held due to bans. The work on these topics is assessed on the basis of a special assessment scheme. If a student has appeared in more than three papers, an average grade is calculated according to the scheme from the three best subjects for which he / she appeared.
After the results are announced, students can review their results online at chseodisha.nic.in and orissaresults.nic.in.
Earlier this month, CHSE announced the results of its upper secondary and commercial exam results on August 12th and 19th. While the percentage of passed exams for the scientific exam was 70.21 percent, it was 74.95 percent for the trade flow.
