CBSE launches virtual inspection to update affiliation: Ramesh Pokhriyal
New Delhi [India]August 20 (ANI): The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced the possibility of virtual inspection to upgrade membership, the Union Minister of Education, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ announced on Thursday.

“This move by CBSE will bring relief to schools during the troubled times of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Nishank.

The CBSE notice states: “It is found that the physical inspection of schools that have requested an upgrade of membership has taken place due to the current COVID-19 situation where the schools are not fully operational. These schools have already joined the school board and due to the natural growth of students in higher grades, schools are facing difficulties from failing to conduct inspections. ”

CBSE said that taking into account the situation, the board decided to introduce the virtual inspection facility.
