BEd Admissions 2020: The Telangana Fees Regulatory Authority charges an admission fee for BEd courses
HYDERABAD: The admission fee for Bachelor of Education (BEd) courses in Telangana for the 2019-20-2021-22 block period was set on Tuesday by the State Admissions and Fee Regulation Committee (TAFRC) in Telangana.

According to a government issued by the Schools Education Department, the entrance fee for 209 BEd colleges was set by the TAFRC based on the audited financial statements submitted by management. The annual fee ranges from Rs 16,500 to Rs 32,000. Majority colleges have admission fees between Rs 20,000 and Rs 28,000. According to the GO, the institutes charge the annual tuition fee each year in advance only for this specific year, either in a lump sum or in installments, if they wish.

“Institutions will not charge, directly or indirectly, any fee other than those determined by the Committee other than the collection of such unauthorized amounts, directly or indirectly, a capitalization fee or an unauthorized or illegal amount (e.g. donation, etc.) The collection of the capital fee and the Any surplus (profit) that is obtained from the collection of the fee must benefit the institute and must not be diverted for other purposes or for personal gain, ”says the GO.

The GO also notes that the committee’s determination of the fee structure does not enable or permit the administration to hold the relevant courses in their facilities unless they are otherwise properly recognized and approved by the government or the National Council for Teacher Education .
