Bank of India 2020 recruitment: On August 1, the Bank of India opened its application window for 28 job offers for officers and employees. The job offers only apply to athletes who are qualified as a sporting event / championship. The last application deadline is August 16. Aspirants can apply online at There are a total of 14 vacancies for the officer post and 14 for the employee. The selection is based on the selection list for interviews and / or field trials.

For the post of officers-

Education level — Bachelor’s degree (degree) in a government-recognized university discipline. from India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the central government as such.

Sports qualification — Sports event / championship of categories A, B and C.

Age limit:

Minimum: 18 years

Maximum: 25 years

For the post of the employee–

Educational qualification — Pass the X standard exam or an equivalent exam

Sports qualification — Sports event / championship of category D.

Age limit:

Minimum: 18 years (20 years for the Khelo India sporting event)

Maximum: 25 years


Category – A – Olympic Games, World Championships, World Cup

Category – B — Asian Games, Asian Championship (Senior), Common Wealth Games

Category – C — Youth Olympic Games, Asian Championships (juniors), South Asian Games (SAF), any other recognized international sports championship

Category – D – World Police and Fire Games, National Games, National Championship (Senior & Junior), Federation Cup National, All India Inter State Championship (Senior), All India Inter University Tournament, National School Games, Khelo India (Minimum Age) Limit – 20 Years)

Selection process:

The selection is made through a selection list for interviews and / or field trials based on their qualifications, experience and general suitability for the position.

The selection in the officer squad is made by reviewing an application, carrying out field tests in the respective sport, followed by an interview.

The preselection in the clerical cadre is carried out by checking the applications and carrying out field tests.
