17 lakh candidates for 5,438 police posts, test in November
JAIPUR: In protest by the ruling Congress Party against the NEET and JEE tests, the Rajasthan police announced on Thursday that they would hold a police recruitment test in the first week of November. Senior Rajasthan Police officers said every precaution was being taken to ensure the exams go smoothly while adhering to Covid protocols and the safety of aspirants.

According to officials, at least 17 lakh aspirants are expected to take the exam, which will be held for 5,438 posts by 59 different units of the Rajasthan Police Department. In this regard, DGP Bhupendra Singh held a meeting with RSRTC officials and also with high-ranking officials from his department.
